jumping spider

I was cooking some eggs today and there was a jumping spider on the stove. luckily he wasnt on burner I was currently using, but it must have been hot for the little fuck. I picked them up to put them in my nearest potted plant. he jumped off my finger and tethered himself to a strand of my hair so he wouldnt fall. he hung around in my potted plant and let me take some videos. they got shy. I get it. I left the kitchen to check my emails and when I got back he was gone. some beings are just so ungrateful.

so after writing the first part of this I went to bed and went to work, and when I came home the little guy was still in the potted plant. I caught them a fruit fly and spritzed some water. maybe were roomies now. I hope they feel safe. even when a two eyed monster 200 times its size is the one watching over them
